Join us for the first TASTE * SENSE * FEEL event in Tynemouth!
An evening dedicated to the enjoyment of food, drink and live music, set in the wonderfully quirky building that is the Land of Green Ginger.
Complimentary canapés by Kitcheners Café and the chance to taste some Noveltea products will be available on the night on a first come, first served basis. Don’t worry, there will be plenty for everyone but… if you arrive late and you miss out … don’t blame us! 😛
Luckily, there is no risk of running out of music with the great Bryan Watson & The Lights Over Vegas who will be playing live throughout the night.
The North Tyneside Land Train will be running on the night picking up any guests that wish to take advantage of this service free of charge* – saves a taxi ride! The train will depart from Beverley Terrace, Cullercoats at 6.30pm and serve as a shuttle to the Land of Green Ginger stopping at The Grand Hotel, Gibraltor Rock, Green Ginger, Beaconsfield car park until 8.30pm.
Kitscheners is a quirky vintage café set within the Land of Green Ginger. It serves a wide array of hot and cold drinks and freshly made scones and cakes. They serve tea in crockery and teapots from 30’s to 70’s, which are also used to serve for all their delicious made to order toasties, paninis and soups. The decor is oh so wonderfully vintage and “kitsch”! 
Love the vintage crockery? You can buy these items and more in the café – such as vintage books and a wide array of proper old school vinyls.
Hailing from our beloved North East, this band specializes in strong harmonies, layered vocals and memorable melodies. Lead by Brian Watson at the vocals and guitar, the group will showcase the best of their repertoire and delight us with some good soulful tunes all night.
What’s NOVELTEA?
Well, if you ask us, we think that’s a genius invention, born from the minds of two Germans from Cologne. The pair have combined two of the things British people love the most – tea and alcohol – to create a new and original alcohol infused drink that is bound to conquer the world (or so we think!)
They are coming to the Land of Green Ginger to promote their product and to show us how it’s done. They will be there at hand to talk about the history of Noveltea, the idea behind it, all the secrets and the tips on how to serve it the best way to maximise the flavours and have the best tasting experience.
There are two blends of noveltea: “The Tale of Earl Grey” an infusion of earl grey tea with British gin and hand-selected botanicals and “The Tale of Tangier” which infuses Moroccan green mint tea and Caribbean rum.
TASTE * SENSE * FEEL Admission Tickets are only £5 per person.
Spaces are limited so please purchase your ticket now to avoid disappointment. Tickets for the North Tyneside Land Train are free of charge but you still need to book your place to secure a space on the train.
