Think of it as a night out with friends, with the only difference being that if someone was to catch your eye, you already know they are not taken! CARL HUTCHINSON

Carl has been crowned the ‘Magners’ Pub Comedian’ of the Year and the winner of the ‘Beat the Frog World Series Competition’. He also reached the final of ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ and been nominated for the ‘Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award’. 

Carl’s debut Edinburgh show ‘Acceptable’ was shortlisted for an ‘Amused Moose Laughter Award’ and he is returning to the Festival this August with an exciting new hour of stand-up, showcasing his own brand of effortlessly charming but characteristically dry comedy.

The Maths & Statistics graduate of Newcastle University and former secondary school teacher has supported both Mick Foley and Chris Ramsey on their sell-out tours. He also supported Russell Kane on a selection of dates. Carl continues to support Chris Ramsey on his current tour ‘All Growed Up’.

Please note: We have set an equal number of tickets for men and women and once they have gone, they have gone! We cannot control number ratio in any other way, and as much as we cannot guarantee an even split between men and women, we can at least monitor this, in the best interest of every party involved.
